This is a game about pushing boxes onto goals - a genre you're probably familiar with. However, instead of playing as a person, you play as a sentient piece of string with the ability to tie together multiple boxes by creating a loop around them, allowing you to push all of them simultaneously. The puzzles are difficult and require you to think outside the box. Every level also has a hint if you're stuck, and you can skip any level by pressing M to return to the menu and then selecting a level. Have fun!

This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, with the theme "Loop".

The music was composed by me. The menu music is called "Which way round it is", and the game background music is called "Soup".

Controls:

  • Arrow keys to move
  • R to restart
  • Z to undo
  • M to return to the menu

Insanely creative! It also showcases how impressive scratch projects can really be!

This is one of my favorite entries I've played, you could do so much with this concept. I love the puzzles, they were the perfect level of difficulty. I sat with level 8 for far too long bc I completely forgot you could create other moveable blocks by looping the environment

Interesting idea, some cool puzzles as well. I think for the first few levels, if the mechanics are being explained in that "?" hint button, the text should show automatically. Personally a bit desensitized to hint or help buttons, so it was a bit frustrating trying to parse what the intended approach was, while missing the fundamental mechanic because I didn't click it first time around.

Great game! Level 3 really had me thinking hard. LOL!

really fun game! level 8 took me a while as I couldnt figure it out without pressing the hint, would love to play more levels

Thanks!

Wow great puzzles! I was stumped by puzzle six but had several satisfying "aha!" moments on the way there. Happy jamming!

Thanks!

I see you added a level four that teaches the self-canceling. Congrats on a great game!
